INJURY UPDATES WEEK 5 2014

INJURY UPDATES WEEK 5 2014

Joique Bell – Suffered a concussion. Not participating in Wednesday’s practice.

Teddy Bridegwater – Suffered an ankle injury and was carted off the field. He did rejoin the team on the sideline. Didn’t practice on Monday, and plays on a short week this Thursday. Questionable.

DeAngelo Williams – Extremely doubtful this week with a high ankle sprain.

Derek Carr – Claims he should be able to play this Sunday.

Mike Evans – He could miss several weeks. Out this week.

Cecil Shorts – We should just keep his name here. He seems to be constantly banged up. This time it’s a hamstring. It’s looking like he will miss this week’s game.

Vernon Davis – Back injury. Did not practice Wednesday and is questionable for this weekend.

Atlanta Offensive Line – 3 starters left the game, and they had to bring their TE in to play right tackle. Could lower the fantasy value of all the offensive players a bit.

Arian Foster – He is at less than 100% with a hamstring injury, and sat out Wednesday’s practice.

Jerick McKinnon – Was limited in practice, and plays in the Thursday game.

Jake Locker – Practiced Wednesday without limits.

Carson Palmer – Healing slower than expected from the nerve problem, and is expected to get a second opinion from Doctor’s.

Jordan Cameron – He has said the shoulder injury is lingering, but he will try to play through it.

Ben Tate -  Is practicing and should get the start this week.

Jordan Reed – He is practicing, but his outlook for playing this week is not good.

Brandon Marshall – Practicing in full.

Marvin Jones -  now has an ankle injury unrelated to his foot surgery, but wasn’t limping afterwards, even though he didn’t practice.

Andre Johnson – Hurt his ankle, but says he is fine and will play.

Jarret Boykin – Out for Thursdays game.

Harry Douglas – Did not practice Wednesday and is questionable for this weekend.
